25 Ways to Help Build Mission

Mission won't be built by a few people carrying the load.

It will be built by people who consistently pray, invite, serve, give, encourage, and make room for others.

Here are 25 practical ways to help build Mission.

  1. Pray for Mission Gainesville for 5 minutes every day (the people, pastors/leaders, resources, etc.).

  2. Invite one person to the next Mission gathering.

  3. Introduce yourself to someone you don't know at every event.

  4. Stay 15 minutes after gatherings to meet someone new and help clean up.

  5. Share Mission posts on your Instagram when they publish.

  6. Take someone to coffee and hear their story.

  7. Volunteer to help with setup or teardown.

  8. Learn the names of five people on the team.

  9. Reach out to someone who missed a gathering.

  10. Bring a friend with you to Team Night or Gather.

  11. Offer to pray for someone in-person when they share a need or problem.

  12. Host a meal for a couple people from Mission.

  13. Join the prayer team when opportunities arise.

  14. Give consistently toward the launch of Mission.

  15. Follow up with every guest you personally invite.

  16. Bring water, snacks, or supplies for the team.

  17. Spend one hour serving somewhere in Gainesville this month.

  18. Introduce two people who should know each other.

  19. Reply to team messages and planning requests.

  20. Invite a coworker, neighbor, or friend into your everyday life.

  21. Look for someone standing alone and start a conversation.

  22. Share your story of faith with someone this month.

  23. Ask someone how you can help them with what they’re carrying.

  24. Bring faith, energy, and encouragement wherever you serve.

  25. Find one thing that needs to be done, do it before being asked, and don't broadcast it.

Mission is built one conversation, one invitation, one prayer, one act of service, and one relationship at a time.

The church we see will be built together.
